Cedric Antonio Carpenter, age 45 of Elberton, Georgia enter into eternal rest March 8, 2018.

Funeral service, 2pm Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Love in Action Christian OutReach Center, Elberton, Georgia.

Interment will be in the Lincoln Heights Cemetery, Elberton, Georgia.

Mr. Carpenter will lie in state at 1pm Saturday until hour of service.

Survivors include his parents George Statom and Bonnie Oglesby; children, Cedrick Carpenter Jr., Muntrez Carpenter, Santarius Carpenter, Kanesius Fortson, Tre’Vion Fortson; step-children, La’Sasha Van, Maricka Thompson, Markel Thompson; brothers, Kelvin Carpenter, Doug Oglesby, Lewis Walker, Fredrick Baker; sisters, Cheri Oglesby, Courtney Statom, Tanya Wideman; 4 grandchildren.
