Funeral service will be held 5:00 pm, Monday, August 7, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Elberton, Georgia. Burial will be in the Target AME Church Cemetery, Holly Hill, SC.
Survivors include his wife: Dianne Owens; sons, Christopher Owens, Larry Owens, Jr., Brandon Owens, Braxton Owens; mother, Effie Owens; brothers, Ralph Owens, James Henry Owens Jr.; 2 grandchildren.
