Survivors include his spouse Ilene Ravenell; children, Joseph Ravenell, Tina Ravenell, Curtis Ravenell, Stewart Ravenell, Kalvin Ravenell, Nathaniel Ravenell, Kendral Ravenell Jr., Jeffery Mattox, Jaavee Howard, Denise Oglesby; brothers, Richard Ravenell, William Ravenell; sisters, Sonja Brewer, Cavassa Odister, Geraldine Davis; 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
