Tennie Willie Fortson Newman “Wood” age 65, of Elberton, Georgia, passed Friday, April 21, 2017.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elberton, GA. Burial will be in the Lincoln Height’s Cemetery, Elberton, GA.

Survivors include his children: Stephon Newman, Selicia Newman, Latice Newman, Trajan Allen, and Detric Ardister;  mother: Lorine Allen; brothers: Sidney (Judy) and Thomas (Mary) Newman; sisters: Dianne (Randy) Perrin; Linda (Rudolph) Clark, and  Peggy Rucker; 15 grandchild; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
