Survivors include his brothers, Willie Shoemaker Jr., Games Shoemaker; sisters, Caroliyn Shoemaker, Martha Shoemaker, Mary Saddler, Ida Ruth Shoemaker; half-brother, Walter Allen Bush; half -sisters, Jimmie Lois Perry; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
