Prophetess Thomasine (Johnson) Bowman

Prophetess Thomasine Johnson Bowman, age 84, passed away on Saturday, March 09, 2024. 

Ms. Thomasine Johnson Bowman was born on November 17, 1939, in Hartwell, GA to the late Lillie Banks and Tommie Johnson. She departed this life of 84 years on March 9, 2024, at the Rainey Hospice House located in Anderson, South Carolina.

She was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church at a young age. At 50, she stepped into her journey as a true visionary in Outreach ministry and a fond outstanding visitor of St. James C.M.E. church and others.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking, reading; but most of all, ministering to people about the goodness of God. She opened not only her heart but her home to many in need.

Preceding her in death were daughters: Leatrice Johnson and Rita Hailey. Grandson: LaHank Johnson. Sisters: Mrs. Thelma Sheron, Mrs. Josephine Stoddard, Mrs. Mary E. Landers, Mrs. Helen Johnson, Mrs. Myrtle Billups, Mrs. Alberta Goldsmith and Ms. Robbie Joe Alexander. Six brothers: Hoyt H. Hill, Jake Johnson, H.T. Hill, George Hill, James Hill and John Hill.

She leaves to cherish her fond memory two daughters: Jackie Rucker and Paula Jones both of Hartwell, Georgia. Four Grandchildren: Kenyotta Sturghill, Jasmine Jones, Jada Jones and LaMika Dangerfield all of Hartwell, Georgia. Six Great-Grandchildren: Kenton Sturghill, Rasheed Balckwell, Nicole Dangerfield, Kenyatta Dangerfield all of Hartwell, Georgia. Monet Johnson and Kaniya Shoemaker of Elberton, Georgia. Special Friend: Carrie Daniels. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 12:00pm - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 12:00pm - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 2:00pm, located at Maple Spring Baptist Church. 

Interment will follow funeral services at Maple Spring Baptist Church. 

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Paula Johnson located at 2359 Bio Lane Hartwell, Georgia 30643.
