Ms. Willie Ruth (Mattox) Oglesby, age 66 received her wings on April 6, 2024.

Willie Ruth Oglesby was born July 28, 1957, daughter of the late Lotria (Ope) and Mattie Bell Maddox.

Willie Ruth was born and raised in Hartwell, Georgia. She had a loving spirit and would always voice the fact that she loves you.

Willie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Coy Mattox, Joe Mattox, Inell Mattox, David Mattox, Ricky Mattox and Vinnie Lee Mattox Morrison

She leaves to cherish her memory; two loving daughters, Jessica Franklin (TraeVonn), Kajuanna Oglesby; one son, David J. Oglesby (Keisha); 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby N. Draggs, Annette Mattox; four brothers, Horace Mattox, of Hartwell, Georgia, Bennie F. Mattox, Quillie E. Mattox (Mattie) and Curtis Mattox of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
