George Tate Obituary

Rev. George Bennie Tate “Skinny”, age 78, of Elberton, Georgia entered his eternal rest on Oct. 01, 2018.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday Oct. 07, 2018 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Elberton, Georgia.

Interment will be in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Elberton, Georgia.

Rev. Tate will be placed in the church at 2:00 pm Sunday until hour of service.

Survivors include his wife: Betty Jean Tate; children: Matilda Jones, Josephine Tate, Billy Jones, Alfreda Tate, Stacey Tate, Wanda Tate;24 Grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service-Elberton Chapel www.macksfuneralhome.com (706) 283-4566.
