John Wayne Mitchell, National Guard, age 61 of Hartwell, Georgia entered his eternal rest on December 30, 2019.

Funeral service and military honors will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service located at 266 Maple St. Hartwell, Georgia 30643. Interment will be announced later.

Survivors include his daughter, Wakeitha Langston; mother, Sue McCurry Mitchell; brothers, Kelvin Mitchell, Thomas Leon Mitchell, Henry O’Neal Mitchell; sisters, Elaine Mitchell, Carolyn Mitchell Curry, Venita Mitchell Craft, Mary Jones; 4 grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
