He was known by his pleasant personality and was well liked by everyone. Alonzo met no strangers and made everyone feel comfortable. He always kept a smile on his face. On a sunny day, you could always find him cleaning cars (especially his family's), riding his ATV, or his motorcycle, or cruising up and down the four lanes in his Cutlass. Alonzo was also known for his famous phrase such as "Oh Lawd" and "Oh Shoot". Although he was a man of few words, his presence spoke volumes. To know him was to love him.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and faithful wife of 49 years, Sallye. To this union, they were blessed with two daughters; Tawanda of Macon, GA and KaSheena (Floyd) of Augusta, GA. Two beautiful granddaughters; Samaria and Saniya Scott. He loved his grandchildren, he called one "Tweetie" and the other one "Boop Boop"; Two brothers; Booker T.
