Andrew Lee Wilker

Mr. Andrew Lee Wilker, age 88 of Maxeys, Georgia formerly of Elberton Georgia entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. 

Mr. Andrew Lee Wilker, long-term resident of Maxeys, Georgia was born to Chessie Wilker of Elberton, Georgia, on January 22, 1935. He was the oldest son of Chessie Walker and brother to Jimmy Hester (Deceased), and Robert Hester (Deceased). A lover of fishing and hunting, Andrew lived a long life and retired from the Oglethorpe County School System as a bus driver. 

Andrew Wilker leaves behind a loving wife of 41 years, Regina Wilker of Maxeys, Georgia. Wille (Wendy) of Arkansas, Lisa Wilker and Alvin Wilker of Maxeys, Georgia, Andrea Wilker of Athens, Georgia, and Laurens Jackson (Deceased) of Maxeys, Georgia, grandchildren Caleb (Bianca), Tony Christin (Hunter), Juan William, Camren, Cayden, Ashton, Matthew, Rebecca, and Elijah, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. We will miss his talents, joy and spirit.  

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 1:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
