Mrs. Annie Mae (Eades) Scott, age 81 gained her Heavenly wings on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Piedmont Athens Regional in Athens, Georgia.
Mrs. Annie Mae Eades Scott was born in Hartwell, Georgia on July 9, 1942, to the late Henry and Evelyn Eades. She peacefully entered rest on April 29, 2024.
Annie Mae was a devoted mother, daughter, loving sister and caring aunt that role extended to all members of the family and to the lives of the ones she touched in the community.
Annie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Mailon Scott; father, Henry Eades; her mother, Evelyn Eades; her son, Johnny Keith Scott; two sisters, Mandy Eades and Rosie Lee Oglesby; three brothers, Seaborn Rucker, Ernest Eades and Andy Eades and One Granddaughter, Wannika McCord.
Annie Mae leaves to cherish her memories; her children: Wanda McCord, Melvin Scott, TJ Eades, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00pm, located at Union Hill Baptist Church.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Union Hill Baptist Church.
