Mr. Bennie Frank Mattox, the son of the late Mr. Coy Iotria Inell (Ope) Maddox and Mrs. Mattie Bell (McCurdy) Maddox was born on June 6, 1950 in Hartwell, Georgia.

Bennie Frank joined the Maple Spring Baptist Church at an early age, he attended school in the Hart County School System and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he would spend the rest of his life.

His life’s journey ended on October 10, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Bennie Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Coy Iotria Mattox, Joe Thomas Mattox, Mattie Inell Mattox, David Mattox, Vinnie Lee Mattox Morrison, Ricky Mattox and Willie Ruth Mattox Oglesby.

He is survived by his daughters, Necole Wilkins and Tasha Patterson; a host of grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby N. Mattox Draggs, Annette Mattox both of Atlanta, Georgia; three brothers, Quillie E. (Mattie) Mattox of Lithonia, Georgia, Horace Mattox, of Hartwell, Georgia  and Curtis Mattox of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Service of Memory will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Chapel of Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home.
