Mr. Bobby Marcellous Alexander, age 75 quietly passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his home in Hartwell, Georgia.
Bobby Alexander, a man known for his unwavering dedication to helping others, has passed away. His life was a testament to his passion for working with children and his commitment to mentoring countless young lives.
Born to Dennis Ellis Alexander and Sarah Lou Sadler, Bobby inherited an entrepreneurial spirit that led him to run several successful businesses throughout his life, always striving to create opportunities and inspire those around him. His drive and determination were matched only by his love for his expansive family, including his beloved siblings Dennis Harold Alexander, Joseph Bebee Alexander, Homer Alexander, Linda Gale Alexander, Gerard Mitchell, Anthony Shabazz Alexander, Sr., Vincent Alexander, Anthony Oglesby, Joseph Roebuck, Johnny Roebuck, Gloria Jean (Happy) Edwards, Debbie Mitchell, Sandra (Lulu) Alexander, Sarah Denise Alexander, and Nicole Pittman.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of his children, Devonja (Evette) Trice, Bobby Marcellous Alexander, Jr., Marlo Davis, Eric Blank, Reginald McCord, and Lisa Alexander. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Bobby will be deeply missed but will be known for his pride and love for his people, and his dedication to educating Black people about our rich history. His impact on the lives of family and friends will forever be cherished.
