We pause to announce the earthly transition of Mr. Cail Glaze, age 53, of Athens, Georgia who ended his earthly walk of life on Monday, December 22, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Cail Glaze was born on February 8, 1972, in Elberton, Georgia, to Ms. Annie Ruth Glaze and Mr. Franklin Delano Eberhardt. From an early age, Cail showed strength, determination, and a love for life that never faded.
He was educated in the Elbert County School System and proudly graduated with the Class of 1990. During his school years, Cail made a name for himself on the basketball court, where his talent and competitive spirit stood out as he dominated his opponents. Basketball was more than a game to Cail—it was a passion that reflected his drive and love for excellence.
Above all else, Cail loved his family. He embraced life fully, valued time with those he loved, and created memories that will be treasured forever by all who knew him.
Cail was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Franklin Delano Eberhardt, and his brothers, Mr. David Glaze and Mr. Phillip Glaze.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted mother, Mrs. Annie Ruth (David) Edmond; his children, Ms. Kaylen Jackson, Ms. Yasmine Glaze, Mr. Cail Glaze II, Ms. Kelci Glaze, Mr. Caiden Glaze, Mr. Ellijah Palmer, and Ms. Tanzania Williams; his siblings, Mrs. Amelia (Ryan) Hearn, Mr. Scott (Sonja) Glaze, Ms. Eve Glaze, Mr. Troy (Debra) Glaze, Ms. Althea Huling, Mr. Eric (Natasha) Eberhardt, and Mrs. Shameka (Robert) Gaither; four aunts, Mrs. Annette Bradford, Ms. Joanne Glaze, Ms. Marie Glaze, and Mrs. Julia Burton; one uncle, Mr. Jesse (Annie) Glaze; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 12:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
