Celia P Long

The life of Celia P. Long was one of great honor, love, joy and grace. She lived selflessly and  dedicated her life to honoring and serving the Lord with deep love and intention. She assumed many important roles in her lifetime, and performed them all with the utmost care and compassion. Not only did her family benefit from the significance of her care and love, but all who crossed her path were blessed by her loving presence. Although this world will not be the same without her sweet smile and precious laugh, we can rejoice in knowing that she is living fully and abundantly in her eternal home with the Lord Almighty. God bless Celia, and may the significance of her life continue to warm and bless the hearts of all.

She was proceeded in passing by: Harold Bartlett (husband), Michael Bartlett (son), Edwin Long Sr. (husband), Betty Walker (sister) and Patrick Long (step son).

Survived by: Tim Bartlett (son), Lindsey Bartlett (granddaughter), Hannah (great-granddaughter), Jordan Bartlett (grandson), Jackie Bartlett, Edwin Long Jr. (step son), Lou Ann Long (daughter in-law), Jeremy Long (grandson), Garrett Long (grandson), Lauren Long, Evelyn Long (great-granddaughter), Richard Long (step son), Joni Long (daughter in law), Ryan Long (grandson), Katelynn Long, Emily Long (great-granddaughter), Justine Long (granddaughter), Kathy Alden (step daughter), Rob Alden (son in-law), Robbie Alden (grandson), Vickie Alden (granddaughter). Numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved cat companion Joy.

A Celebration of Life reception will be taking place Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church:
