I am the resurrection and the life; He that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever lived and believeth in me shall never die. Mrs. Cynthia Anita (Turman) Glaze, departed this life on February 20, 2025, at the age of sixty-four, to exchange her earthly life for an eternal life.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born, Cynthia Anita (Turman) Glaze was born on January 17, 1961, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to Frances "Sue" Turman. Before the age of one year old Cynthia came to Elberton, Georgia, where she was reared in the home of her grandparents Frank “Dutt” Turman and Ruby (Tate) Turman.
Growing up in a God fearing and Christian home and realizing that Christ was her Savior, at an early age Cynthia joined the Tate’s Grove Baptist Church with her grandmother Ruby where she sang in the choir and attended Cades Chapel Baptist Church regularly with her grandfather Dutt. Cynthia was educated in the Elbert County School System and graduated from Elbert County High School Class of 1979 where she won the friendship of many that resulted in a lifetime friendship.
Cynthia’s sweet, loving and kind spirit led her to become a CNA in the nursing field as she began her career at Heardmont Nursing Home, where she worked for many years. Cynthia was very passionate about her job and cared for the patients as though they were her very own family. Her smile would brighten up any dark day a person was having.
