Darlene Hargrove

Ms. Darlene Hargrove, age 61, of Hartwell, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 01, 2025.

Miss Darlene Hargrove was born on December 9, 1963, in Franklin County, Georgia to the late Mr. Joseph Hargrove and the late Mrs. Oscar Lee (Bullard) Hargrove.

Darlene attended Franklin County School system. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was a very sweet and outgoing person, a person that enjoyed life. Anywhere she wanted to go, that’s what she did. Fall of life and love her grandkids.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Joseph Hargrove and Mrs. Oscar Lee Hargrove; two brothers Mr. Steve Hargrove, Mr. Dean Hargrove; two nephews Mr. Kenric Lamont Heard and Mr. Andrakus Lashaun Scott.

She is survived by her son Mr. Mario Hargrove; her daughter Tiffany Chamaro Carter; granddaughter Kashuna Danielle Shoemaker; three great granddaughters Brayleigh Evelyn Shoemaker, (twins) Sarybi Qu’elle Thompson, and Sevyn Dior Thompson; two sisters Priscilla Hargrove Allen, and Margarite Hargrove Oglesby; nephews Adrian Hargrove, Marcus Bowens, Charles Bowens, Quincy M. Jones, Johnny Rodrickas Jones; three nieces Teresa H. (Russell) Leverette, Shamaica Heard, Nereda Fruster; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 3:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
