Deacon Chuck Conners Heard

Deacon Chuck Connors Heard, 65, of Macon, Georgia transitioned out of this life to his receive his heavenly reward on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent the Medical Center in Macon, Georgia.

Chuck Connors Heard, born on June 4, 1959, was the son of the late James Heard and Ruby Mae Hall Heard. He served on the Deacon board, Usher Ministry, and sung in the choir at Oak Grove Baptist Church, demonstrating unwavering dedication until his passing. Chuck had a passion for collecting remote-controlled cars, fishing, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. His endearing habit was assigning affectionate nicknames to those he held dear.

For 32 years, he shared a loving marriage with Angel Faye Heard. Chuck played multiple roles in life: devoted husband, caring father, doting grandfather, supportive brother, uncle, cousin, cherished friend, and dedicated employee.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, James Heard, Ruby Heard, and John Ardister, as well as his sisters, Jeanette Willis, Linda Heard, Eleanor Ardister, and Mary Ardister, brothers: Samuel Ardister and Waymon Ardister, Aunt: Sara Ardister, Uncle: Eddie Hall, and brother-in-law: Walter Wallace.

Those mourning his loss include his wife, Angel Heard; son, David Heard (Synita); daughters, Kimberly Denson (Roderick) and Kasia Allen; five beloved grandchildren: RJ Denson, Brailyn Denson, Ayanah Burton, Faith Bridges-Allen, and Reagan Mercer, his nephews: Ernest Willis, Jr., James Willis, and Lorenzo Willis, his sisters: Ms. Linda McLendon, Mrs. Wanda (Jesse) Martin, Ms. Evon Ardister, Mrs. Nancy (Terry) Willis, two cousins to whom he was extremely close; Ms. Regina Hall and Mr. Michael (Vanessa) Ardister, Aunts: Ms. Sandra Hall, Mrs. Lisa (Darrell) Abby, Uncles: Mr. Curtis (Valencia) Hall and Mr. Julius (Sharon) Hall, In-laws: Mr. James and Mrs. Jasper Allen, Ms. Vickie Allen, Mr. Stanley (Edith) Allen, Ms. Sophia Wallace, Mrs. Kimberly (Alvin) Fleming, and Mrs. Stacy (Maurice) Peterson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family are receiving family and friends of the community at 2051 Deep Creek Rd., Dewy Rose, GA.

Public Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 12:00-5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00pm, located at Oak Grove Baptist Church - Elberton, GA. 

Interment Services will follow the funeral service at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
