Deacon Horice B. Willis, Sr. "Pa" age 87, of Elberton, Georgia, entered his eternal rest on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 12:00 NOON at the Thankful Baptist Church, located at 1054 Thankful Baptist Church Road, Tignall, Georgia 30668.

Social distancing & face masks will be required to attend the services.

Deacon Willis is survived by 4 loving and caring children: Terry (Nancy) Willis, Helen (Gilbert) Fortson Jacklyn (Eddie) Bradford, & Horice Willis, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great great- grandchildren; 1 brother: Norice Willis; 1 sister: Carrie Williams; 5 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Due to amount of love and concern that "Pa" showed to others and for the benefit of his many family and friends, in the Elberton area, the body of Deacon Willis will lie in state at the Mack's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Elberton Chapel 320 College, Ave. Elberton, Georgia  30635, on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 9am- 5pm.

Public viewing will occur in Washington at McLendon Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 6pm-8pm.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home, 215 N. Mercer Street, Washington, Georgia is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
