Deacon Timothy L. McLendon, Sr. was born on April 28, 1966, to Eva McLendon. His earthly journey ended on July 18, 2025.
Tim was a member of the Youth Crusade Evangelistic Center of Greenwood, SC. He was a loyal worker for many years at Welch’s Granite Company. Tim was a devoted husband of thirty-eight years to Angela (Harper) McLendon. He was a dedicated man of many things.
Proceeding him in death are his sister Patricia Brawner and brother Donald McLendon.
To God’s keeping he leaves his mother Eva McLendon of Elberton, Georgia; wife Angela McLendon of the home; son Timothy L. (Sherika) McLendon, Jr. of Elberton, Georgia; daughter Tish McLendon of Elberton, Georgia; grandchildren PFC Ty’Quavious McLendon of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Sameria McLendon of Elberton, Georgia; brothers Willie McLendon, John Tolver, Reginald (Carolyn) McLendon all of Elberton, Georgia; sister Barbara McLendon of Elberton, Georgia; sisters-in-law Josephine Gaines, Brenda Harper; brothers-in-law Larry (Tongia) Harper, Rodney (Bonnie) Harper; godsons Brandon Ashford, Larntavious Browner, Canaan Browner and Nehemiah Robinson; a devoted friend Johnny “Fuzzy” Heard; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, family and extended friends.
Life has a way of offering farewells before we’re ready, and at your untimely departure, we find ourselves grappling with the pain of an unfinished goodbye. Though our earthly journey together has ended, the love and memories we created we will forever endure.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 3:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Interment will follow the funeral service located at Lincoln Heights Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
The family is receiving friends of the community at the home of Deacon McLendon at 1326 Old Middleton Road, Elberton, Georgia.
