Delores (Hamm) Moore

Delores Moore age 82, of Elberton, Georgia, entered her eternal rest on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Mrs. Delores Moore was born on January 19, 1940, to the late Arthur Hamm Sr. and Walter Lee Hamm.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member at Westside Presbyterian Church. She attended public schools of Elberton, GA. And was a graduate of Blackwell Memorial High School. Delores also attended Albany State University.

Delores met her true love Mr. Roosevelt Moore (Ben), married, and later moved to Atlanta, GA.

Delores worked as a dispatcher for many years and devoted her time to caring for her great nephew, JaVonte whom she loved and spoiled as a baby.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband Roosevelt Moore, her siblings: Grace, Mary Lee, Sarah, Julia, Norman, Arthur Jr., and Robert.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her brothers: Willie Hamm (Dale) of San Diego, CA. George Hamm of Cincinnati, OH. Aunt: Baby Ruth Hamm. Sister-In-Law: Mary Hamm of Inkster, Michigan. Jewell Jones of Atlanta, GA. Two Nieces: Joyce Sylvester and Ruby Dubose. A devoted cousin: Rhonda. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel at 12:00 - 5:00pm. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel at 1:00pm. 

​Interment will follow services at Lincoln Heights Cemetery.
