Dontavius Amir Marable

We announce the earthly transition of Mr. Dontavius Amir Marable who went to meet his Savior on December 9, 2025, at the Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Dontavius Amir “DT” Marable was born on February 28, 2008, to Kendra Marable and Eddie Bradford at Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA. DT as he was affectionately known began his education at Clarke County School System and later attended the Elbert County School System where he was a Junior. He was proudly employed at McDonald’s in Elberton for one year.

Always known to have a smile on his face and be the life of the party. He will truly be missed. DT’s untimely death on December 9, 2025, has left us all with a void in our heart and we will forever cherish his precious memories. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert Marable.

DT leaves to cherish his memories his beloved son Ja’Kari Marable (Elberton, GA); his mother Kendra Marable (Athens, GA); his father Eddie Bradford (Athens, GA); his guardians Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Jeffrey Nance of the home; siblings Ryderius Clarke, Jayden Marable, and Kaleah Marable of the home, Kiah Bradford, Karter Bradford, Tyler Bradford, and Houston Bradford all of Athens, GA; maternal grandmother Lucille Fortson (Elberton, GA); paternal grandmother Mary Coleman (Athens, GA); maternal great grandmother Mamie Perrin (Elberton, GA); one nephew Zyon Ellis and one niece Milani Martin; special friend and mother of his son Jailyn Hurley; a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.

Public Viewing for Mr. Marable will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1:00pm - 5:00pm, at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.

Funeral Service for Mr. Marable will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church, Elberton, GA.

Interment will be at Rock Spring C.M.E. Church, Elberton, GA.

The family will be receiving family and friends of the community at Mr. Marable's residence 35 Oak St. Elberton, GA and at the home of his great grandmother Mrs. Mamie Perrin at 1744 Sweet City Rd. Elberton, GA.
