Dorothy Annette (Clark) Young

Mrs. Dorothy Annette (Clark) Young made her transition on Friday, October 17 in Lexington, N.C.

She was born in Elbert County, Georgia on July 14, 1940, to the late Willie Harris Lewis and Frankie Camilla (Clark) McCalla.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 65 years, Raymond Lamar Young; siblings, her sister, Loretha McCalla of Elberton GA; her brothers, William Jr. McCalla (Diane), John Thomas McCalla (Maggie) both of Elberton GA; and Marion Tate (Sandra) of Gainesville, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at First Baptist Church located at 210 Village Drive, Lexington, N.C. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:00 in the church sanctuary.

Burial will be at the Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery located at 3230 Cross Plains Road, Gainesville, GA on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
