On Monday evening, November 25, 2024, the Lord in his great wisdom dispatched an angel to escort peacefully Mr. Dwayne "Hank" Hill, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, age 57, out of this life at Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton, Georgia to relocate to his new heavenly home.
Mr. Dwayne Hill was born December 14, 1966 to the late Curtis and Kathleen Hill. Dwayne was known by “Hank” he loved his family and friends and they loved him.
Hank graduated from ECCHS Class of 1984. During that time Hank was the captain of the Basketball team along with his teammates Johnny Heard and Mike Hood and they were known as “The Three H’s”. Hank was also Major Hank Hill (Battalion Staff); he also was vice president of the Blue Sword. It was also important for him to keep his grades up. After graduation Hank attended Truett McConnell University as a business major, he then attended Clark University in Atlanta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Hill, and his brothers Curtis Hill, and Calvin Hill.
Hank was a sweet and kind, caring person and very generous. Hank was also very witty, made you laugh easily. Hank fell to sleep in death Monday, November 25, 2024 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.
Hank leaves one brother Spencer (Mandy) Hill; six sisters Carolyn Bolton, Mary Mattison, Elizabeth (William) David, Norma (Henry) Crew, Bonnie Oglesby, Gloria Ann Bowman; one sister-in-law Delores Hill; one uncle Bob Norman; and a host of nieces, nephews.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 11:00am, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Interment service will be held at Lincoln Heights Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
