Eurean (White) Smith

I am the resurrection and the life; He that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. (John 11:25-26) Mrs. Eurean (White) Smith departed this earthly life on August 3, 2024, at the age of ninety-seven, to exchange for eternal life.

Eurean Smith proceeded to go home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2024, at AnMed Health Center in Anderson, SC. She was born June 21, 1927, in Carnesville, GA to the late Charles
and Sallie Mae White.

Eurean was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Zelmon Smith; four children Doris Montgomery, Zelmonh Lee Smith, Willie C. Smith and Sammy Smith; siblings Joe Hawkins, Willie Mae Johnson, Sara Hester Stanley and Pearlene Hawkins.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories to her sons Charles (Inell) Smith, Luther (Tara) Smith, Luvard Smith all of Anderson, SC, Penland (Flora) Smith of Iva, SC, Ricky (Angie) Smith of Elberton, GA; daughters Minnie L. Alexander, Laura Sims, Frances (Elijah) Stevens all of Greenwood, SC, Wanda Smith of Anderson, SC; sisters Mattie Johnson, Clara White and Gerdine Rucker; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 2:00pm, located at Mt. Zion Baptist Church - Bowman, GA. 

Interment service will follow the funeral service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church - Bowman, GA.

The family are receiving friends at the home of her son Mr. Luvard Smith at 101 Stonehaven Dr., Anderson, South Carolina 29625.
