Ms. Fannie Sue Browner - Brewer, age 69 passed away from her earthly life in the early morning hour on Monday, January 27, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia surrounded by her family.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fannie Sue Browner-Brewer, age 69, of Atlanta, Georgia, who peacefully transitioned on Monday, January 27, 2025, at her home in Atlanta, GA. Fannie Sue was born on May 15, 1955, in Hartwell, Georgia, to the late Majester and Annie Lee Browner-Brewer. She was married to the late James Edward Brewer.
She leaves behind her beloved children: three sons, Jame M. Brewer, Jaquavieon Brewer, and Michael Grissom, as well as her late daughter, Shekita Brewer-Ogles. Fannie also raised her granddaughter, Jamia Brewer, as her own. Fannie was truly blessed with three grandchildren: Maya, Brandon, and Derrick, and six great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Fannie is also survived by her cherished siblings: Shirley, Georgia, and Margaret, and was preceded in death by her brother, Majester (Jim) Browner. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind a large, loving extended family that includes aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, as well as her goddaughters, God-grandsons, and God grandchildren, all of whom she held dear.
Fannie Sue dedicated much of her early career to working as a professional material cutter. Later, after relocating to Atlanta, she found great fulfillment in becoming a professional caregiver, where her nurturing spirit was evident in the care she provided to many. Throughout her life, Fannie was deeply family-oriented, with an unwavering determination to ensure that her children and grandchildren were given the best life possible. Fannie’s life and legacy will be remembered with love, gratitude, and fond memories.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00pm, located at Oak Grove Baptist Church - Elberton, GA.
Interment Service will immediately follow the funeral service located at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
