Mrs. Francine (Gantt) Allen, age 88, passed away peacefully on the Sunday, July 21, 2024, at her home, after a gradual decline in health.

Mrs. Francine Allen, a devoted homemaker and dedicated worker, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024, at the age 88. She spent over 30 years working at Gold Kist in Athens, Georgia and later at Seaboard Farms poultry in Elberton, Georgia before retiring to become a caregiver.

Known for her exceptional gardening skills, “green thumb” and sense of humor. Francine was a faithful Christian woman and lifetime member of Westside Presbyterian Church in Elberton, Georgia.

She will be deeply missed by her seven children: Ray (Kimberly) Robertson, Roy Robertson, Camilla Robertson, Richard (Fritz) Robertson, Melvin (Linda-deceased) Robertson, Thomas (Angela) Robertson, Cynthia Robertson; her sister, Mahalia Downer; and her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, spanning five generations.

Rest in peace, Grandma Francine. Your legacy will live on through your loved ones and the countless lives you touched. We love you always. ~ Your Family

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 3:00pm, located at Westside Presbyterian Church - Elberton, GA. 

Interment service will follow the funeral service at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
