Mrs. Geneva Ann (Baby Ann) Cleveland McClendon, 84 of Atlanta, Georgia peacefully entered into her eternal rest on Friday, April 28, 2023. Baby Ann was born on October 2, 1938 in Elberton, GA to the late Mr. Truman Sampson Cleveland, Sr. and the late Mrs. Geneva Carrie (Ector) Cleveland.

Baby Ann’s angelic voice will be deeply missed by all that was blessed to hear her sing in Elberton and the Atlanta area. Her gift from God was truly a blessing to you each time she was in your presence whether it was during regular church service, community service or funeral your heart would be absolutely filled with nothing but the glory of God.

Baby Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mr. Moses McClendon, Sr. and son, Mr. Shedrick Cleveland, siblings Mrs. Willie Lee Sadler, Ms. Jewell Tate, Mr. Truman S. Cleveland, Jr., Dr. Judge Jefferson Cleveland, Ms. Mary Lee Cleveland, Ms. Shirley Cleveland, Mr. Lafayette Cleveland and Mr. Paul Cleveland.

Survivors include her children, Mr. Moses McClendon, Jr., Mr. Alvin McClendon, Ms. Sophia McClendon, Mr. Marcus McClendon; two brothers, Mr. Bennie Richard Cleveland and Mr. Issac Von Cleveland; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A musical celebration will be held Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, Inc., Riverdale Chapel.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Elberton, GA. at 1:00pm.

Mrs. McClendon will lie in state from 12:00pm until the hour of service.

Interment will be held at Lincoln Heights Cemetery in Elberton, GA.
