George Edward "Suede" Ramsey

Just as the date was coming into existence, in the stillness of darkness, the Lord in his great wisdom dispatched his angels to the Rainey Hospice House to peacefully relocate Mr. George Edward "Suede" Ramsey of the Nuberg Community to his new heavenly home.

Mr. George Edward (Suede) Ramsey was born on October 27, 1956, in Hartwell, Georgia to the late Floyd Edward and Mattie Ruth Ramsey. He was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina.

George was a graduate of Hart County High School and was employed as a welder at Whitlow, Elberton, GA and Fun Spot, Hartwell, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Mattie Ramsey, brother Willie Joe Ramsey.

He leaves to cherished memories to his sons, Jacquavious Ramsey, Augusta, GA, Rico Mattison, Mauldin, SC, Jeremy Willis, Atlanta, GA and Kelvin Williams; three grandchildren, Destiny Mattison, Mason Willis, Tara Willis; three sisters, Mozelle (Andy) Martin, Hartwell, GA, Annie (Tracey) Allen, Elberton, GA, Vickie Ramsey, Augusta, GA; two brothers, Roy (Delois) Ramsey, Hartwell, GA, Harry (Angela) Ramsey, Hartwell, GA; one aunt, Mozelle Sadler, Bridgeport, CT; bonus sons, Jerome McIntosh, Jason Dye, David Dye, Marshall Williams, Scott Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 12:00 - 7:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00am, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
