Mr. Henry Luther Lee, Jr. entered this life on January 11, 1949, in Carlton, Georgia. He was the youngest and last surviving child of the late Mr. Henry Luther Lee, Sr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Dubose Lee.  Henry transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Cassandra Denise Lee, and his sisters, Mrs. Daisy Lee Jones and Mrs. Mary Nell Lee Maddox.

Henry grew up attending Fork Creek Baptist Church where he came to accept and welcome Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He later joined the New Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Deacon Board until declining health. His occupation was a cement finisher for E. R. Snell Contractor, INC., in which he worked and finished bridge construction. In his spare time, he also enjoyed working as a mechanic and building motors.

Henry was first united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Peggy Jo White Lee (deceased) and God added to this union three daughters, Ms. Cassandra Denise Lee (deceased), Mrs. Belinda Lee (Larry) Odister and Ms. Wanda Lee Faust. Later in life, Henry married Mrs. Sheral Trudy Brown Lee and God added to this union two stepchildren, Mr. Charles N. Tate and Mr. Ken C. Tate.

To God’s keeping he leaves to cherish his memories; three daughters, Mrs. Belinda Lee (Larry) Odister, Athens, Georgia, Ms. Wanda Lee Faust, Athens, Georgia and Ms. Tiffany Glass, Atlanta, Georgia; special family friend and caretaker, Ms. Gwendolyn Banks, Elberton, Georgia; two step sons, Mr. Charles N. Tate, Carlton, Georgia, Mr. Ken C. Tate, Athens, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Mrs. Tydria Lee (Rashad) Wise, Hull, Georgia, Ms. Corina Lee, Athens, Georgia, Mr. Leviticus (Briana) Lee, Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Larquinton Lee, Hull, Georgia, Mr. Malcolm Faust, Jr., Athens, Georgia, Mr. Kelvin Hambrick, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Kadarious Hambrick, Atlanta, Georgia; nine great grandchildren; one nephew Mr. Tavius Mattox; one great nephew, Mr. Tavius Mattox, Jr.; two great nieces, Ms. Nykendra Mattox, and Ms. Victoria Mattox all of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends that loved him and will always cherish his memories.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Interment service will immediately follow the funeral service at Rock Springs C.M.E. Church - Elberton, GA.
