Howard Jackson, Jr.

Howard Jackson Jr., age 74 of Elberton, Georgia entered his eternal rest Monday November 28, 2022.

Mr. Howard Jackson Jr. was born on July 28, 1948, in Walton County, Georgia to the late Mr. Howard & Mrs. Alberta Jackson.

Howard was a native of Monroe, Georgia and was a lover of outside nature including, gardening, and fishing. Howard was a member of the United States Army until 1979. During his military career he received several awards including National Defense Service medal, good conduct medal, the expert badge with hand grenade and the sharpshooter badge.

On April 9, 1999, Mr. Howard married Mrs. Eva Lois Jackson. Howard can be best defined as a quiet and reserved gentleman. He enjoyed hosting family members at their home for cookouts. Howard was an aviate sports fan but mostly football. He enjoyed playing cards and watching the news.

Howard was the personal assistant to Pastor Stacy Heard. He enjoyed assisting the Pastor with doing the work of the Lord.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Howard Jackson & Mrs. Alberta Jackson. Two Sisters: Albertha Jackson & Seresa Elder.

Howard leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of twenty-three years: Mrs. Eva Lois Jackson. Nine children: Tasha Jackson, Cedric Jackson, Ambreshia Jackson, Jordan Jackson, Iven Jackson, Nakita Jackson, Vickie Wilkins (Julian), James Willingham (Tangela), Felisha Lee. One brother: Charles Jackson (Barbara).  Seven Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10:00am until 5:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 1:00pm located at Love & Action Christian Center - Elberton, GA.
