James Edward Anderson

Mr. James “JE” Anderson age 65 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania entered his eternal rest Sunday, November 27, 2022.

James Anderson was born on October 9, 1957, to the late Mr. Joe Anderson Sr. and Mrs. Lucinda Anderson in Elberton, Georgia.

James joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He attended the Elbert County High School where he graduated in 1976. James was very smart, he was a master carpenter who could build and fix anything. He was very loving, kind, caring, and fun to be around.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. Joe Anderson and Mrs. Lucinda Anderson; Two brothers, Mr. Joe Anderson Jr. and Mr. Lewis Anderson; Two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Partlow and Ms. Loretta Allen.

James leaves to cherish his memory; his Children: Ja’Marcus Highsmith, Iven Jackson, and Tyquan Highsmith; Grandchildren: Sha’ Nyia Fortson and Tristan Highsmith; Four Sisters: Ms. Willie Sue Mattox, Ms. Bobbie Paulk, Ms. Queen Cannady and Ms. Callie Cade; One Brother-in-law: Mr. Larry Partlow; Two Great Uncles: Larry (Lisa) Burton, and Clyde (Julia) Burton; Nine Nieces: Ms. Louvina Verdell, Mrs. Lorene (Joseph) Jackson, Mrs. Brenda (Glenn) Fordham, Ms. Jackie Anderson, Mrs. Kimberly (Courtney) Syphores, Ms. Crystal Brockett, Ms. Chametra Cannady, Ms. Jaqueena Cannady, and Mrs. Maranda (Aaron) Cummings; and Six Nephews: Mr. Willie J. Fortson, Mr. Bennie Fortson, Mr. Freedie Mattox, Mr. Kennesth Paulk, Mr. Darrick Allen, Mr. Thomas (Bobbie) Cannady Jr., Mr. Terrill Partlow, Mr. Randall (Leneille) Moon, and Mr. Justin (Shanice) Cade. Also, a host of great nieces, great nephews, relatives, and friends.
