Jason "Scooter" Lamar Burton

Jason Lamar Burton better known as “Scooter”, age 46, of Athens, Georgia, formally of Elberton, Georgia, entered his eternal rest on Sunday, February 19, 2023. 

Jason Lamar Burton “Scooter” was born on March 8, 1976, in Elberton, GA to the late Jacqueline Burton and Cad Burton. He was Retired from the navy.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter: Kimbernesha Burton of Elberton, GA. One son: Tyshawn Burton of Augusta, GA. Father: Cad Burton of Elberton, GA. One granddaughter: Paisley Sanders of Elberton, GA. Two Sisters: Cassandra Glaze and Melanie Burton both of Elberton, GA. One brother: McArthor Burton of Elberton, GA. A special cousin Mildred Smith (Al) of Tennessee. Three nieces: Likimberly Burton, Teyana Fortson of Elberton, GA and Santekia Burton of Anderson, South Carolina. Two Nephews: Montrez Burton of Elberton, GA and Tobias Burton of Las Vegas. One great niece: Kamille Burton of Elberton, GA and Two great nephews: Markel Burton and Marquez Burton both of Elberton, GA.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 3:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
