Jo'Siah Elijah Rucker

Jo’Siah Elijah Rucker was born December 9, 2022 to Kamarcus Rucker and Shartecia Teasley in Athens, Georgia. The Lord called his son Jo’siah home on October 30,2024.

Jo’Siah was affectionately known as “Fat Mack, JoJo,Tank, Si Si” to many family and friends. After spending 301 days in the hospital he was brought home and surrounded by love from all who knew him. He fought many small battles throughout his time here and overcame so many. He enjoyed laughing, playing, and being surrounded by loved ones.

He leaves his precious memories to his parents Shartecia Teasley and Kamarcus Rucker, his siblings Kamariea Rucker, Nayayli Teasley, Marquise Rucker, Angel Hamm and Amari Rucker; His Grandparents Sheila Teasley, Sereatha and Vincent Hofler, Phillip(Tonia) Bolden; Great grandparents Danny and Delois Teasley. His aunts Chantika (Shawntary) Davis, Dominique Bolden, Shalonda Rucker, Angela Bolden, Great Aunts Linda( Clarence) Pegues, Patricia Holland, Lisa James, and Sharon( Greg) Cunningham. Uncles Phillip Bolden Jr., Demitrius Rucker, Great Uncles Wayne Holland, Danny Teasley Jr, Timothy Teasley, Lee Doyle(Sharon) Bolden, Stanley(Monica) Bolden and a host of other family and friends.

Jo’Siah was welcomed into his heavenly home by his Grandfather Joe Rucker, Great Grandparents Lillie and John Holland, Ernest and Scharlean Bolden, Aunt Lakesia Allen, Great Aunt Angela Teasley and Great uncles Samuel Bolden, Fredrick Holland and Ernest Bolden Jr.

Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 12:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Interment service will follow the funeral service at Hillcrest Cemetery - Bowman, GA.
