Deacon John Charles Allen Jr., age 77 of Elberton, Georgia entered his eternal rest July 17, 2018.

Funeral service 1:00 pm Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Fortson grove Baptist Church, Elberton, Georgia. Interment will be in the Fortson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Elberton Georgia.

Deacon Allen will be placed in the church at 12 :00 noon Saturday until Hour of service.

Survivors include his spouse Imogene Hughes Allen; children, John Charles Allen Jr., Gaydene Allen King, Andrea Allen Rayton, Marvin Hughes, Tabitha Bradford Rambert, Spencer Bradford, Kizswan Pressley; brother, Fred D. Allen; sister, Flossie Mae Booker; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
