John Lawrence Phelps, U S Army Veteran, age 82, of Elberton, Georgia, entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, at St. Mary’s CME Church located at 265 Locklin St., Elberton, GA.
Interment will follow in the Lincoln Heights Cemetery, Elberton, GA.
Mr. Phelps will be placed in the church, Tuesday, at 1:00 pm until the hour of service.
Survivors include his brother, Charles W. Phelps, Sr.; step-daughter: Alfrenita Smalls; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
