Joseph William Moon age 38, of Elberton, Georgia, entered his eternal rest on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Joseph William Moon born on December 22, 1983, to Mr. George M. Moon, Sr. and Mrs. Suzanne Moon. J.W. was originally from Elberton, GA and was a graduate of Elberton High School. J.W. was a lover of cars and his dogs Sheba, Dottie, Onyx, Nova, and Blue.

J.W. is preceded in death by his father: Mr. George Marion Moon Sr. One brother: Michael Payton; Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. One Aunt: Lucille Haygood.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Amanda Moon; mother: Suzanne Moon of Elberton, Three Brothers: George Moon Jr., of Hartwell, GA. David Robert Payton II and Aaron Moon of Elberton, GA. Two Aunts: Donna Gabriel and Georgia “Sissie” Moon. Two Uncles: Randy Gabriel and Thomas Moon. Thirteen Nieces and Nephews. Seven Great Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends.

There will be a private service at a later date. The family is grateful for your thoughts and prayers at this time. It is their prayer that God will bless you each.
