Kim (Donkey) Johnson

Mr. Kim (Donkey) Johnson, age 58, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Mr. Kym (Donkey) Johnson was born on July 10, 1965 in Hartwell, Georgia to the union of the late J. C. Johnson and Maggie Mae (Burton) Johnson. He departed this life on May 19, 2024 in Lavonia, Georgia.

Donkey was educated in the Hart County School System and graduated with class of 1984. He later graduated from Art Institute with an associate degree in business.

Donkey was an independent contractor and was the definition of a true hustler. He loved softball, kickball, and attending community events. He was our body guard! He loved being with family and friends, and played a big part in all surrounding counties. He also loved traveling and living life to the fullest.

Donkey was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Johnson and Maggie Mae (Burton) Johnson; his brother, Larry Lee Burton; his sisters, Lou Gene Johnson and Laura Ann Johnson; one grandchild, Bailey Adore Alexander.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Brittany Feaster, Hartwell, GA, Shiane Hickman, Greenville, SC, Sheray Butler, Lavonia, GA, Jazamine Trimier, Atlanta, GA, Melijah Butler, Atlanta, GA, Qym Johnson, Lavonia, GA; one brother, Tim Johnson; one sister, Mary (Roy) Morrison; he also leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 10:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10:00 - 12:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 1:00pm, located at the American Legion Hall - Lavonia, GA.
