Larry Darnell White

Mr. Larry Darnell White was born on April 9, 1953, in Elberton, Georgia to the union of Mr. Iradell White and Mrs. Minnie (Fortson) White. The only son born to this union of four, Larry referred to his sisters as number 1, number 2 and number 3.

At an early age, Larry joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Larry was educated in the Elbert County School System and graduated with the first totally integrated class of Elbert County High School in 1971. Larry was employed at Keystone Memorial Granite Company and was a dedicated truckdriver for many years.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle that truly loved his family. In his spare time Larry enjoyed going to the drag races and watching western tv shows.

On August 23, 2025, Larry peacefully made his transition where he now joins his loving parents Mr. Iradell White and Mrs. Minnie White.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife Mrs. Tequila Bell-White of the home; his three children Ms. Shenna Quinetta Fortson of Elberton, GA, Mr. Christopher Terrell White (Tonya) of Anderson, SC, and Ms. Thea Bell of Burbank, CA; two grandchildren Miss Chloe Gary of Elberton, Ga, and Miss Khalia White of Anderson, SC; his three sisters #1-Mrs. Nelcenia Downer (William) of Newark, DE, #2-Ms. Yvonne Blackwell of West Haven, CT, and #3-Ms. Martha Wright of New Haven, CT; his mother-in-law Ms. Willie Lee Bell of Elberton, GA; one sister-in-law Mrs. Leslie Bell Wilson (Charles) of Burbank, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 1:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
