Lee Marshall "Boot" Browner

Mr. Lee Marshall Browner "Boot", age 68, of Elberton, GA entered his eternal rest of April 16, 2023.

Mr. Lee Marshall (Boot) Browner, graced the world with his appearance on February 3, 1955, in Elberton, GA to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Marshall (Carrie
Mae Carter) Davis Browner. Boot to some, LM to others was one of eleven children born to this family.

Boot was dedicated to his family and was a great protector and provider which lead him to working to public jobs therefore he began working for the City of
Elberton, you would see him all over Elberton driving and waving at everyone he saw. He retired from the Elberton Public Works Service with over thirty-five years of service and Elbert County School System where he worked at Beaverdam Elementary School.

Boot one of a kind, he always wore a smile on his face and loved to laugh. He loved the Lord and knew and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Boot was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and he represented the DAWGS every day.

Two tired eyes are sleeping, two willing hands are still; the one who worked so hard for us, began to rest at God's will on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Boot now joins his parents, Lee Marshall (Carrie Mae Carter) Davis Browner; three brothers, George Smith, Freddie Browner, Michael Browner; three sisters, Carrie Lee (Browner) Turman, Betty Ann (Browner) Turman, Betty Teresa (Davis) Rucker; one granddaughter, Bre’Asia Wilkins. Boot leaves behind his wife of forty plus years, Laura Francis Browner; five daughters, Bashawn (Dexter) Wilkins, Mashawn (Dedrick) Davenport, Jennifer A.(William Oglesby) Harper, Jennifer (Calvin) Thomas & Angel Browner; one son, Nundi Huff; two grandchildren reared in the home, Quan’taija Teasley, Rodriques Teasley, Jr.; four brothers, Jimmy Browner, Lee Mickel Browner, Mitchell Davis, Terry J. Davis; one sister, Wanda Elaine (Jim Tom) Heard; mother in law, Laura Mae Harper; one brother in law, Loyalty Turman; one sister in law, Lucinda Thomas; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; long time best friend, Carey Butler; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 2:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home Elberton Chapel. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at Lincoln Heights Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
