Lillie (Clark) Ravenell

Mrs. Lillie (Clark) Ravenell, age 75 of Hartwell, Georgia made her transitioned from her earthly house to her eternal home on June 3, 2024, at the Saint Mary's Health Care System in Athens, Georgia.

Lillie Ravenell was born on December 3, 1948, to the late Ralph B. Clark and Laura Lee Gaines Clark. God called her from suffering to eternal peace and happiness on June 3, 2024. Lillie graduated from Hart County Training School in 1968. She was employed at Hartwell Company for over 25 years. At an early age she joined the Maple Spring Baptist Church. She served faithfully as a Deaconess, young adult mission and senior mission member. She also enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves games faithfully.

She was united in holy matrimony to Deacon Richard Ravenell for 53 years and to this union two children were born.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents and brother Mr. Joseph Clark.

She leaves to cherish fond memories with her husband, Deacon Richard Ravenell of the home. Children: Michelle Walker of Hartwell, GA and Meika (JaCobi) Roper of Savannah, GA. A special son Terry Ravenell. Siblings: Billy (Gloria) Clark and Jeannette Orsley all of Hartwell, GA. Annette (John) Gibbs and Rudolph (Linda) Clark all of Elberton, GA. Bonnie (Dale) Norman of Savannah, GA. Sister-in-law: Sonja (Milton) Brewer of Charleston, SC. Cavassa Ravenell of Hartwell, GA. Granddaughter: Kubrea Walker of Hartwell, GA. Close family friends: Mr. James & Ophelia Craft. God son: Darryl Jarrad Donald. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 3:00pm, located at Maple Spring Baptist Church. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at Maple Spring Baptist Church.
