Linda Gail Clark

Ms. Linda Gail Clark, gained her heavenly wings on January 27, 2025, while at her residence in Elberton, GA.

The world was blessed with the entry of Linda Gail Clark on August 6, 1956, in Elberton, Georgia to the parentage of Mae Lee (Jackson) Heard and Jeppie Clark, Senior.

Linda and her family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida early in her life, she was educated in the Broward County School District. Linda was a straightforward woman that didn’t mind expressing her feelings, but at the same time she would show you the love she had in her heart.

Linda’s life brought her back to her roots in Elberton where she began working at the Elberton Country Club and Pilgrim Pride, where she won the friendship of many. Linda was the caretaker of her father, until his passing. Her life was well lived, and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Mae Lee (Jackson) Heard, Jeppie (Son) Clark, Sr.; her sisters Betty Singletary, Annie Mae Pressley, Bessie Lee Gibbs; brothers Otis Heard, Jr., John Robert Clark, Jeppie Clark.

Linda leaves to cherish her fond memories, three brothers Norris Heard, Patterson, NJ, Ricky Clark, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Steve (Deloris) Partlow, Deerfield Beach, FL; two sisters Brenda (Willie) Cooper, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Elizabeth Tate, Elberton, GA; one aunt Rose Mary Allen, Atlanta, GA; two uncles Melvin Jackson, Elberton, GA, Kermit Clark, Elberton, GA; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00am, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Interment service will immediately follow the funeral service located at Lincoln Heights Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
