Linda K. Hamm

Ms. Linda K. Hamm, age 70, of Elberton, Georgia entered her eternal rest on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Linda Kay Hamm was born on October 23, 1952, to Mr. S.A. & Baby Ruth Hamm. Linda was preceded in death by her father Mr. S.A. Hamm and sister Mrs. Annie Ruth Almond.

Linda joined Oak Grove at an early age and participated as long as her health allowed her to. She enjoyed Gospel singing. Her favorite gospel artist was Lee Williams. Linda was a hard worker; she was employed with the same company for over 30 years until the plant closed. The company had many names it was Prestolite when she started, and the final name was Honeywell Friction Materials when she retired.

Linda was able to concentrate on her health and her soul-mate Mr. Claude Burton, with whom she shared her life and home for over 30 years.

Linda is survived by her mother: Baby Ruth Hamm. Son and her life: Damarcuris Kayon Hamm. Extended Children: Nancy Burton, Claude Buton Jr., Quincy Burton. Nephew: Dallas Almond Jr. Niece: Tandra (Romie) Mitchell. Great-Nephews: Daltavion Almond and London Mitchell. Great Niece: Harper Mitchell. Uncle: Rathia (Earlene) Moon. Brother-In-Law: Dallas Almond Sr. Goddaughter: Gekera Ardister. A host of relatives and friends.
