Mrs. Lue Vera Johnson, age 78 departed from this walk of life to gain her Heavenly reward on Friday, March 22, 2024, in Gainesville, Georgia.
Mrs. Lue Vera Jones Johnson aka Cooter born June 29, 1945, to the late Roger and Fannie Mae Jones. She transitioned to eternal rest on March 22, 2024 at North Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
As a child Lue Vera spent most of her time with her grandparents David and Lue Vera Allen. She was a great lady who loved the Lord. She was also a member of New Light Baptist Church for many years.
Lue Vera was married to the late Australia Johnson, Sr. and to their union they had three children, Stacy Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Australia Johnson, Jr.
Lue Vera was preceded in death her husband; her parents; her sons Stacy and Calvin; her brothers, Joe Franklin and Kenneth Clyde Jones; her sister, Katie Lue Grant; her maternal grandparents, David and Lue Vera Allen and paternal grandparents Archie and Ella Jones.
Lue Vera leaves to cherish her memories her son Australia (Beth) Johnson, Jr.; stepdaughter, Elaine (Paul) Knox; surviving brothers, Archie (Margaret), Walter David, Herman Lewis, Willie Roger Jones; surviving sisters, Mary Lee (Joseph) Duncan, Ruby Lee (Thomas) Crump, Fannie Lois Jones, Sheryl (William) Jones Ware, Frances (Stefan) Jones Witcher; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.

Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 4:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
