Mr. Lynn "Press" Ivory Thomas, aka William Glynn Little, age 64 of Canon, Georgia entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, January 09, 2024.
Lynn Ivory Thomas (William Glenn Little) aka “Press” departed his life on January 9, 2024, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Ga. He was born on October 24, 1959, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA to the late Ulysses and Tommie Elton Little. He graduated from Hart County Trade School and joined the United States Army.
In his prime, he was one of the best softball players, best believe he would knock it out of the park when he was up to bat! He played with various teams around the NEGA area being awarded many accolades for his skills and performances. He always had a love for music and learning to play drums was a childhood dream. He became a skillful percussionist showcasing his skill and talent for Union Hill Baptist Church, St. Mary’s CME Church, and Zion CME church. He was in the group Brothers in Christ as a singer and drummer.
During his life, he attended Tri County Technical and worked for various industrial companies such as Royston LLC, Tenneco Automotive, Ritz Instrument Transformers, and Nestle Purina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Euladee Stowers, Sr., and nephew Randy Stowers.
He leaves behind an only son: Ricardo Mayfield. Daughters: Latoya Thomas-Morrison, Samantha Stowers, and Teyah Mayfield. Son-in-law: Terrell Morrison. Grandchildren: Kyairre Thomas, Kairion Morrison, Milan Cleveland, Kameron Mayfield, J’Kinsley Mayfield, Braelynn Mayfield, and Ricardo Mayfield, Jr. Nephews: Euladee Stowers, Jr. (Denetria), Tommy Stowers (Regina), and Dr. Clarence Stowers. Niece: Janet Stowers. A host of great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1:00pm, located at Union Hill Baptist Church.
Interment service will follow the funeral service at Union Hill Baptist Church.
