Lynwood Tate, age 73, of Elberton, Georgia, entered his eternal rest on Monday, February 20, 2023.
Lynwood Tate was born on August 1, 1949, to Zack Tate and the late Annie Laura Tate.
Lynwood is preceded in death by his parents: Zack Tate and Annie Laura Tate.
He leaves to cherish is memories, his wife: Marilyn Tate. Children: Patrice Tate Saint Surin (Kerlot), Lynwood Tate Jr., Tequila Dye, Marvin D. Dye, and Kizzer Dye. Father: Zack Tate. One Brother: David (Laura) Tate. Nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A host of Nieces, great nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 12:00 - 5:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 1:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Inurnment will be held at Georgia National Cemetery - Canton, GA.
