Marcus Leon Brown

Marcus Leon Brown, 43, of 1010 Second Street Extension, Elberton Ga, passed away, Monday, June 13, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.

He was born to the parents of Johnny R. Brown and Annie J. Brown in Willington, SC on May 5, 1979. He was a graduate of McCormick High School.  Marcus was previously employed with Mollertech LLC in Elberton, Ga as the Shift Leader on First Shift. 

Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Robert Brown and his Grandmother, Dorothy F. Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Mack's Funeral Home & Cremation Service-Elberton Chapel located at 320 College Ave., Elberton, Georgia 30635.  Cremation will follow the service.

Marcus leaves to cherish his legacy, his wife Lenolia M. Brown of the home; his mother Annie J. Brown, of Mt.Carmel, SC; his brother Maurice Brown (Hope Mobley), of Calhoun Falls, SC; his Sister, Marquita Brown, of Greenwood, SC; one godbrother, Artaevause Jackson, Sr. of Calhoun Falls, SC; two stepdaughters, Whitley Mattox, of Elberton, Ga; Shapriest Rucker of Royston, Ga; Three grandsons that were raised in the home, Lemarion Mattox, Kevontae Brittain and Jamarion Mattox; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, his mother-in-law, family and friends that will miss him dearly.
