Ms. Maria Nagy age 76, departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Maria Nagy, born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1948, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She came to the United States in 1971, where she built a beautiful life and raised four children.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, she opened a Hungarian bakery in the Candler Park area of Atlanta, which she ran for ten years. Her bakery was not just a business but a beloved gathering place for the community.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the delicious pastries that brought joy to so many. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and the community she touched.
