Mario Demetrius Alexander

Mr. Mario Demetrius Alexander, age 61 departed from this walk of life Monday, August 5, 2024, Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mario Demetrius Alexander was born on August 30, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Mr. Palace Williams and Mrs. Carrie Ruth Fouch. 

Mario was raised in Gary, Indiana and at the age of 8 the family relocated to Israel where Mario learned much about the Jewish faith. After matriculating in life, he late returned to the United States in 1980 to live with his Auntie Gussie Kelly. The two resided in New York. 

Mario had a deep affinity for music. He loved being an entertainer and founded his own company entitled, Alexander Inc. 

In 2013, he relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas to be with other family members and friends. 

Preceding him is death are his parents: Palace Williams and Carrie Ruth Fouch. Siblings: Billy Alexander, Carlos Alexander, Prince Alexander and Minnie Ward. 

Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Mrs. Juliana De Freitas Bailao-Carneiro, son: Mario Jr. Smiley. Three grandchildren. Siblings: Hazel Whitfield, Ruby Boyd, Amalia Williams, Dale Alexander & Toni Alexander. A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and friends both in the United States and Israel. 

Graveside service honoring the Hebrews last rites will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00pm, located at Maple Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. 

A memorial gathering will take place at 2:30pm, located at Maple Spring Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
